From water well to borehole

A Safe Water Source for Every Patient

Right now, Chambara Clinic relies on a shallow water well. This well is not only unreliable (often running dry in the hot season), but also easily contaminated. Without clean water, it is almost impossible for staff to maintain proper hygiene, and patients are left at risk of waterborne diseases.

We want to change this by drilling a deep borehole (up to 80 meters). A borehole will secure a safe and steady water supply all year round. With clean water, the clinic can:

  • Improve hygiene in wards and treatment rooms.

  • Protect patients, especially mothers and children, from preventable illnesses.

  • Give healthcare staff the resources they need to work safely and effectively.

With your support, we can make clean water a daily reality for Chambara Clinic.
