Dignity Through Sanitation

Today, the clinic has only a pit latrine – a hole in the ground that patients and staff must share. It is unhygienic, unsafe, and far from dignified for people who are already ill or in need of medical help.

Our goal is to build modern flushing toilets, connected to the borehole water supply. These facilities will:

• Provide safe, hygienic sanitation for patients, staff, and visitors.

• Greatly reduce the spread of infections and diseases.

• Restore dignity and comfort for everyone at the clinic.

No one should have to seek medical care in a place without proper sanitation. Together, we can change this.
