How the work is excecuted
Children deserve the chance to explore their talents. In fact, they have a right to it. Unfortunately, this isn’t always a given. That’s why we at the Friends of Zimbabwe foundation are dedicated to creating opportunities for those who don’t have them. And we’re not just overseeing these projects from a distance – we are on the ground, actively participating in the execution of our initiatives. Whenever possible, we roll up our sleeves and get directly involved in the work ourselves.
Our efforts are funded by a variety of sources. Private donations, along with the sale of goods, form the backbone of our funding. We also organize sponsored events to both raise money and build awareness for the foundation’s mission.
At Friends of Zimbabwe, we do not operate with a remuneration policy. Everyone involved in our foundation is driven by a genuine passion for helping communities and children. This work is done entirely on a voluntary basis, with each of us contributing our time, energy, and skills wherever they’re needed.
