New Teachers' Rooms Project
We are thrilled to share with you an exciting project that’s set to change lives and shape the future at our local school. The Friends of Zimbabwe Foundation, in collaboration with our wonderful community, is embarking on a journey to build new teachers’ rooms – a haven for our educators to rest, stay, and continue their vital work of nurturing young minds.
Project update: Progress on teachers' housing
In April 2024, we modestly laid the foundation of our project. With the help of our village, we started building teachers’ rooms at Chamukwenjera Primary School. Their humble donations of bricks have kickstarted this effort.
We are pleased to announce that we have now completed the roof of the teachers’ quarters. Our next goal is to install electricity and water provisions by the end of this year, allowing the teachers to move into their two new accommodations soon.
Our project is more than just construction; it’s a symbol of community and cooperation. Each brick donated represents a commitment to progress. Together, we’re turning dreams into reality.
